My husband and I went to Thailand on our honeymoon in 2019. We drank this beer every day we were there, and I began this series out of nostalgia for Chang.
Classic. Smells like my uncles. I grew up in a Chicago suburb, but still need an Old Style chaser for my Malort.
I moved to the land of sky blue waters halfway through high school. An old friend asked me to paint him a Hamm’s and I had to oblige. The only time I’ve had a literal roadie (camping excluded) was a Hamm’s in his car.
The Champagne of Beers was the first beer I ever enjoyed. And I still do. Old school.
RIP, Wagon Party. Bauhaus Brew Labs is my favorite brewery. It also happens to be the location of my first art show. I participate in art events there at least twice a year, and they’re always a blast. Plus, can we take a second to talk about their design? So. Good.
I love Austin, Texas. And washing tacos down with Lone Star.
Another commission that slipped right into this series with ease. I drank so much Summit between 2008 and 2012 that I think it might be in my blood. I love that old label.
